Canon Hospice – Baton Rouge
Ms. Carla Brown Canon Hospice nurse, has a good idea about how to change the minds of vaccine skeptics: encouraging one-on-one conversations with respected figures in the Black community who can address the misgivings and provide reliable information while acknowledging what she describes as the scars of inherited trauma. “If you look back at our history, we have been lied to and there has been a lot of racial pain so it’s all about building trust.
Providing the Highest Quality Hospice Care for Baton Rouge.
It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself to you. My name is Keri Chilton, I am the On-site Administrator of Canon Hospice – Baton Rouge. It is my mission and the mission of all who are blessed to work in the most difficult, yet rewarding field, to help you understand hospice and its meaning. Moreover, we hope that you realize that hospice is a calling for each of us and caring for you and your loved one is a gift and a privilege.
We extend options for our patients by having both in home care and access to inpatient units so that we may better serve the individual needs of our clients. We invite to explore our website for vital information and contact us for a consultation. We can address answer any questions you may have regarding this exceedingly difficult decision.
Of course, our goal is to provide quality and comfort to all who are in our care. However, having watched our staff go above and beyond for our patients and families it is obvious that it is not just about quality and comfort, it is about love. We laugh, we cry, and we mourn with our families. In the end, we rejoice in the lives of the people we have had the honor to serve.
We hope to do the small things, with great love, and change the lives of our patients and families by “Making Every Moment Meaningful.”
